Hey you! I have been certified and practiced all types of massage therapy since 2OO8 - with big dreams of being an entrepreneur most of my life. When salon suites started booming in the health and beauty industry, I decided to take the leap and started Essential Kneads Massage in 2O22!

Living up north for most of my career, this was a scary concept, starting a business from scratch with zero clients, connections, and idea of what I was in for. I’m so grateful to each and every part of my support system, especially @woo_kenn . He’s stood by me every step of the way through growth, moves and change while we have simultaneously gone through growth, moves and change as a couple…moving to Eagan, blending our families and getting married!

It’s safe to say my family is a huge part of my success. They all motivate me to do big and great things, I love being able to show my kids that hard work pays off and doing something you love is the biggest reward in the working world.

That being said I am so excited to bring my business back to my roots in Rosemount! @annnnna.burns and I are somewhat starting over with this move and we would LOVE to see you, meet your favorite people, and be your go to in the area. Hi beautiful! I have specialized in full body waxing, all things brows and lash treatments since 2O12- going solo creating SILK SKIN in 2022. I absolutely love making people feel good in their skin and building connections while doing so.

Last summer I broke my city streak of living in Saint Paul all of my adult life and moved back south of the river where I grew up, telling myself and everyone in the life I’d built there- “I’ll be back just you wait!” Turns out it was a decision I myself didn’t know I needed, and my business! I’ve formed so many connections, relationships, been closer to family and began putting down roots again.

One big milestone coming out of this move was connecting with my suite mate, @whitney.lanes19 , and deciding to team up, relocate and build our businesses side by side! We have a lot of similarities in work and life and bonded over time working together flawlessly. After leaving a toxic corporate salon environment, I’m lucky to have a “business partner” to never be truly alone, yet still have the ability to operate our very own businesses independently.

We’re settling in to our new community and having fun getting to know everyone! You might see us popping around town checking out all the amazing growth and neat spaces Rosemount has to offer. It’s a whole new world out here and we’re so happy to be joining it.

Waxing is not a part of nail technician schooling, licensing or specialty in any capacity.

Maybe your nail tech does have an esthetician license as well, & that’s boss moves! No hate to them whatsoever. If not, you’re going to a specific space dedicated to providing nail care, with either self taught or no knowledge of waxing. Education is important for your experience, results, and overall safety of the integrity of your skin!
